Everything you're wondering before you commit. No spin. If your question isn't here, ask us directly.
No prior experience in any discipline is required. You need a baseline of general health and, above all, the willingness to be pushed. We build the capability — you bring the commitment. During selection we'll talk honestly about where you're starting from and whether you're ready.
You must be 18 or older. There's no upper limit — we've designed the program to challenge people in their 20s through their 50s. Tracks and intensity can be adjusted to the cohort.
Disclose it during your application and we'll assess it together, often with input from the relevant instructors and medical guidance. Many conditions are completely manageable; a few may rule out specific activities. Honesty here keeps you and the cohort safe.
Every discipline is taught by certified, insured professionals at licensed facilities — the same dropzones, dive schools and ranges that train thousands of people safely every year. Risk is real but managed to professional standards. We never cut corners on safety.
Veld coordinates the journey; the instruction is delivered by vetted, certified specialists in each field — AFF skydiving instructors, PADI dive instructors, qualified firearms and combat coaches. Every instructor is background-checked and credential-verified before they ever work with a cohort.
Appropriate liability coverage and professional waivers are in place for every activity, reviewed by legal counsel. You'll complete clear documentation before training begins. We'll never hide the risks — informed commitment is part of the deal.
Track A (Weekend Warrior) runs on alternate weekends across 12 months. Track B (Fast Track) compresses everything into 6–8 weeks of near-daily intensity. Track C (Elite) is a 4-week private immersion. You choose what fits your life.
Yes. Paying in full upfront is the best value. If you'd rather spread it out, monthly plans are available and total a little more for the flexibility (Weekend Warrior is around $950 a month). We'll set up whatever works for you during selection.
Life happens. The cohort structure is the backbone, but we build in catch-up flexibility and, for genuine emergencies, deferral options so you can rejoin the equivalent stage of a later cohort rather than losing your progress.
Season 01 is based in Edmonton, Alberta, with training at partner facilities across the region and select travel for specific phases and the graduation experience. Future seasons will expand to new cities.
Yes. You earn real, recognized certifications at the relevant stages — solo skydiving, scuba diving, and more — that belong to you for life, independent of Veld.
Every cohort is professionally documented. You leave with a personal highlight reel of your entire journey — your own real footage of doing extraordinary things, yours to keep and to share.
You're inducted into the Tribe — a permanent community with access to global quests, paid guide opportunities, and a network for life. Graduation is the beginning, not the end.
